Full of holiday surprises and contrasts, the resort is set amidst beautiful coastal and rural surroundings, alongside the famous Norfolk Broads. When the sun goes down, Great Yarmouth becomes a wonderland of colour, as the illuminations light up the town. Behind the glitter and lights, lies a charming town, steeped in history. The hotel was also patronized by Edward VII, with the original Edward VII crest still on the front of the hotel. Facilities at the Royal include a restaurant, bar, gardens, lounge and lift.
