It has over 60 miles of beautiful unspoilt coastline which features several award-winning sandy beaches. The scenery on the Isle of Wight is truly spectacular, with its picturesque villages, dramatic cliffs, rich farmland and wonderful wild flowers. More than half of the island has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There’s plenty to do as well, with a wide variety of museums, historic sites, animal attractions, outdoor activities and shops.

The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Sandown’s famous sandy beach and gives you easy access to the beautiful sea shore, the pier and shops. You’ll enjoy a warm welcome and a real home-from-home experience.

Island Highlights See the best of the Isle of Wight, all in one day. We visit Yarmouth, with its pretty harbour, stone quays and old houses and the ‘Needles, arguably the island’s most notable feature.

Newport & Godshill Newport is the principal town of the Isle of Wight, which is located in the centre of the Island and often referred to as its capital. This historic town centres on two elegant squares with Georgian and Victorian architecture surrounding them, with the town’s quay a short distance away. There are also a good selection of attractions around Newport with the Museum of Island History, Quay Arts Centre and the Newport Roman Villa all within walking distance of the centre. Godshill is the quintessential English Village, and boasts some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight.
