Excursions

Excursion to Snowdonia: We enjoy a full day exploring the stunning scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. Our first stop is to the picturesque town of Betws-y-Coed, a town full of charming shops, tea rooms and cafes. From here we continue our scenic drive, passing through Blaenau Ffestiniog and dropping down into pretty Porthmadog, where we spend some free time. We leave Porthmadog and continue onwards on our scenic circular tour, in the shadows of the mighty Mount Snowdon as we travel via the stunning Llanberis pass, passing the twin lakes and head back to Llandudno. Excursion to Conwy & Isle of Anglesey (Beaumaris & Llanfair-Pg): Travel from Llandudno to Caernarfon where we make out first stop. Caernarfon is a traditional county town, best known for the great stone castle. One of the oldest buildings is the Market Hall which is situated on Hole in The Wall Street. We continue along the North Wales coast, visiting Conwy, a delightful small town with a picturesque quayside overlooked by the mighty Conwy Castle. Later on we move on to the Isle of Anglesey and Beaumaris. Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Menai Strait that has medieval castle dating back to the reign of Edward I; it also has a Victorian pier, gaol & courthouse.
