Oozing with culture and entertainment, the romantic city of Paris is quite rightly recognised as the artistic capital of Europe. With a remarkable history, like any great city, most of its leading heritage sites are available for public enjoyment; the Louvre Museum houses the world’s greatest art collection, the Eiffel Tower welcomes visitors to admire the incredible views from its highest levels whilst Notre Dame Cathedral is not to be missed. Cafes, bars and restaurants line every street of this elegant city, boasting a unique ambience and relaxed vibe Paris is home to one of the most sophisticated social societies in the world. It doesn't stop there.. the Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, Montmartre, Avenue de Champs Elysees and the Moulin Rouge are all worth a visit!

Accomodation

The ibis Paris La Défense Centre hotel is located in the heart of Paris' La Défense area, not far from the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Porte Maillot convention center, and it's pretty close to the CNIT and the Grande Arche. The hotel has recently renovated it's rooms,  offering air-conditioning and free WIFI access you're guaranteed a comfortable stay. Some of the hotels rooms offer views over the Seine and the Eiffel Tower.

Excursions

Excursion to Paris Centre: Deaprting at 11am from the hotel, it's just a short journey to the Eiffel Tower, where you'll disembark our coach to enjoy the city at leisure. Later this afternoon we meet back at the Eiffel Tower and return to the hotel. Tour of Paris by night: Rejoin our coach and experience Paris by night, with the opportunity to enjoy an evening meal at leisure. We include a stop at Place du Trocadero, from where there are wonderful views over the Seine, Eiffel Tower and in the distance, Montparnasse. Late return to the hotel in the evening. Excursion to Versailles: Free day in Paris, or join our excursion to the world-famous and fabulous Palace of Versailles (admission around £15). The largest and most magnificent palace in France, Versailles offers a step back in time to the glorious era of Louis XIV and a taste of the lazy Arcadian world of Marie Antoinette. For those not wishing to visit the Palace there is a super Sunday market close-by.

Itinerary

Day 1: Join coach and travel to Dover for our short sea crossing to the continent. On arrival in France we continue to Paris and our hotel. This evening is spent at leisure. Day 2: Breakfast included. Join coach for the included excursions. Day 3: Breakfast. Join the coach for the excursion to Versailles. Day 4: Breakfast. We depart our hotel and make the return journey home, with a stop at a discount-shopping outlet (time permitting) en-route. We have a mid-afternoon crossing back to the UK and arrive home later today.
