Mackays Hotel & Spa Lodge Situated in the former spa town of Strathpeffer, Mackay’s Hotel is nestled in the spectacular Scottish Highlands. Great value in a fantastic location, MacKay’s Hotel and Spa Lodge offers traditionally furnished rooms, tasty food and a friendly bar, all with excellent facilities. Mackay’s also boasts a heated indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna. The hotel is comprised of four accommodation buildings, all closely located to the main facilities of the reception, restaurant and leisure centre. The bedrooms are a variety of shapes and sizes but all are clean and comfortable and have private facilities, television and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift in the original building. The hotel also has free WiFi in the public areas and Sky TV in the bar. Whether you are interested in some of the wide range of outdoor activities available, included sightseeing excursions, visiting some of the many places of historical interest in the area or prefer a more leisurely break, MacKay's Hotel, is an excellent base for exploring the Highlands.


Excursion to Loch Ness & Inverness: Enjoy the shimmering waters of Loch Ness on our inclusive excursion. Visit the Loch Ness Monster Centre, relax on the village green or stroll through the quaint streets passing white cottages, cafes and village shops. Continue on to Inverness, the ‘Capital of the Highlands’, nestled on the banks of the River Ness. Admire its beautiful red sandstone castle, walk along the rushing River Ness or take a peek in the beautiful Cathedral. Discover the quaint buildings of the Old Town, the unique little shops or wander round one of the many art galleries. The Highland Railway Ride: Join us on an inclusive journey by rail on the famous Highland Railway and take in the Rolling Meadows and scenic delights as we travel from Dingwall to the beautiful Kyle of Lochalsh. The Kyle Line is one of the world's most scenic rail journeys and was featured in one of Michael Palin's Great Railway Journeys. We travel from Kyle of Lochalsh on the West Coast to Dingwall. The views from the window are simply wonderful and no matter where you are along its 70 miles, historic Scotland is only a few metres away. We have free time in Kyle before returning back to our hotel for dinner.


7 Days Day 1: Join the coach and head for Scotland. Check-in at overnight hotel, with dinner and an evening at leisure. Day 2: Travel to Strathpeffer where we check in with dinner and an evening at leisure. Days 3- 5: At leisure in the resort with two INCLUDED excursions. Breakfasts and dinners. Day 6: Breakfast and depart for our overnight hotel. Day 7: Breakfast and we board our coach to commence our return journey. Arrive home later today.
